Suggestions for Parents
To enable the children to grow into citizens with a sense of discipline and responsibility, there should be complete co-operation between the parents and teachers. Absence without first obtaining leave should be avoided.
It is responsibility of the parents to ensure that the students.
· Regularly study at home, do their home work.
· Bring all necessary books, notebooks, drawing material, pen, pencil etc. to the school.
· Come to school in prescribed uniform, which should be clean and tidy and attend the school with punctuality.
· Children should be encouraged to read newspapers and useful other than text books.
· Insist on the use of a dictionary to develop the habit of independent study and sense of inquiry among the children.
· Assign some regular manual work to the children to develop in them a sense of dignity of work.
· Students should not be allowed to bring valuable articles to the school.
· It is absolutely essential that home and the school pull in the same direction. Parents should, therefore, not give such instructions to their children as may be contrary to the instructions given by the teachers.
